The pictures below are a comparison of the Fraser River and its water levels. The water in this
river changes ever year at about the same time the difference from the Peak of 1997 and when
the river was at its lowest is about 100 feet. The amount of water flowing through the river(on
the bottom picture) in about minute is the same amount of water the city of Seattle uses in about
about a full day (24 hours). The amount of water that comes through during the spring run off
depends on the winter before. Rafters are not aloud to raft through the Fraser Canyon during the
spring because of the danger it has in many places. The rafting season kicks in some where
around august and goes right through till late fall.
