The picture on the top is of The Fraser River and the Cog Bridge. The Cog bridge was built in 1986. Before that the residents of North Bend used an airiel ferry to cross the river. It was the only ferry of its type in North America. The other picture on the bottom is a of Boston Bar, taken from Green Ranch road. The road leads to a local hydro power plant (The Skuzzy Power plant). Up Skuzzy one can also find excellent camping and fishing. Both these pictures were taken in the fall, which explains why the river is so low. The water usually rises in the spring, as ice and snow melt in the mountains and creat a lot of run off.
