Java and JavaScript

There are currently some security issues with Java and JavaScript. Mostly with Internet Explorer.
Some of you may have disabled these languages on your browser.  This web site uses both and will not be quite as good with them disabled. Specifically, for the navigational menu to the left of the screen. You can enable them for the duration of your visit and disable them when finished.

If you're not sure how to do this, here are some instructions:-

For Java in IE4 and IE5 got to tools/internet options/security/internet/custom level and scroll down until you see Java and enable Java if disabled and set to medium safety.

For JavaScript it's the same, just scroll down a little further until you come to scripting and enable.
To disable these later just go back as per these instructions.

For Netscape got to edit/preferences/advanced and enable Java and JavaScript.
Then just go back and disable them when you want to.
