Here at Pucon begins a series of lakes of singular
beauty, like Calafquen, Caburgua and Villarrica, the last of which has two important tourist
centers - Villarrica on the west side, and Pucon on the East side. There are excellent Hotels,
Restaurant and Pucon also has a Casino. Some very nice ski slopes with good infrastructure, such
as ski-lifts, ski rentals, and also a cafeteria are located around the Villarrica Volcano, which
has a wonderful view of the lake. The ski season lasts between the months of May and November.
Going towards the cordilleras are various thermal
baths like Palguin, Coñaripe, Menetue and El Huife. There are passes through to Argentina. The
landscape is spectacular. Frontier pass Mamuil Malal which reaches to San Martin of the Andes.
The Andes here change into a series of spectacular volcanos, age old forests and crystal clear
lakes. Pucon, an exclusive and fashionable summer resort, acknowledged for the practice of
