An Enchanting Place

Playa Del Carmen, located about 40 minutes south of Cancun, is one of the most gorgeous places i've ever been too. Mind you this is the only place i've been to by plane.. but I already now how special this place is just by visiting it once. The variety of scenery, the food, the music, the sun and the people are all so amazing. I can't really describe it to you. It's something you must go to experience for yourself.

While in Playa Del Carmen I was blessed in making some fantastic friends from Mexico who made Playa their home. My Friend Joanna met Maggie on her last trip to Mexico and she invited us to her wedding. So we made a trip out of the invitation. Here are Myself, Joanna, her Boyfriend Derek, and friends of the Bride and Groom. Who soon became good friends of ours.

Chitzen Itza: The Fabulous Myan Ruins

Chitzen Itza Is a must when you're in the Playa del Carmen/Cancun Area. I never knew such beautiful structures existed in Mexico before I learned I was going there. Climbing the Myan Pyramid is a must. If your afraid of heights I'd be weiry. It's very steep and the stairs are very narrow..considering the steps were made for 3 feet high Myan Indians. If you rent a jeep like we did, stop into some of the towns on the way back from your Myan Adventure. The towns are full of friendly people and you can get things much cheaper since there aren't many tourists there.

Xcaret
This outdoor Park is a must see. You need the entire day and evening. Horseback riding, Myan Villages, snorkeling in underground rivers, the amazing night shows.. and soo much more. We couldn't fit it into one day. I will return to the park on my next visit.
